Navigating The Space Between

If you've been through a major change or loss, or are in the midst of one now, you know that’s not the hardest part.

It's the space between, the long stretch of time when very little of your life feels like yours. That stretch is what this program is for. The hardest part is the gap between where you’ve been and where you want to be — when you can see the life you’re building but you’re not in it yet. You know what you want. A new direction, a different way of living, a version of yourself that feels truer than the one you’ve been performing. Underlying the wanting may also be fear: what if I do all of this and it doesn’t come?

That gap — the discomfort of being in transit, of not yet arriving — is not the obstacle to your transformation. It is your transformation. And it’s what this program is built around.

We pair practical goal-setting outcomes with work on the body, awareness of the patterns that keep capable women over-functioning, and we delve into the parts of transition that are harder to name. I bring intuitive coaching to this work — I listen for what you’re not yet saying, and I help you learn to trust what you’re already sensing. Most women in transition are receiving signals they’ve been trained to override. Part of this program is learning to let that knowing guide you. Making sense of transition as an opportunity for a true new beginning, not just in the literal sense, but in the patterns you recognize, the tools you build, and the relationship you develop with your own instincts.

Who Is This Program Designed For?

You’ll know this program is for you if this resonates:

  • You know you’ll be better served to walk through this transition alongside other women, and alongside a coach

  • Accountability matters to you — not the punishing kind, but someone who will hold you to what you said you wanted, even when it’s easier to let it slide.

  • You’re not new to coaching, therapy or other self-development efforts, and you believe in the value of held space

The Program Structure

This program is built around a cohort-based group coaching model and also offers monthly 1:1 sessions with me. It’s designed to guide you as you walk through this transitionary season, alongside other women who are doing the same thing.

Included

  • Two one-to-one coaching sessions with me each month

  • One cohort session each month, moving through the three phases of transition together as a group:

  • An intake process and a written plan built around one specific, dated outcome

  • Support between sessions as needed via text or email

JEN WEISS

Fundraising Strategist & Coach for Women in Transition
PhD, Co Active Training Institute-Certified

Meet The Founder

My name is Jen Weiss. I am a coach for women in transition and the creator of The Space Between. I also work as a fractional fundraising and development leader for nonprofits, drawing on more than 20 years in the sector, mostly in education. In those roles I’ve built and led fundraising teams, worked closely with boards, and grown funder and donor partnerships through a lens of equity.

Throughout my work in the nonprofit sector and as a coach, I’ve seen how often capable leaders, especially women, get stretched past what’s sustainable, and I help both organizations and people build something that lasts.

As a coach, I’m certified through Co Active Training Institute and I bring range and depth, guiding you and synthesizing for you as you develop goals you can act on. My approach is intuitive and integrative — I draw on my PhD, my writer’s background, psychology, and somatic and contemplative practice, but I lead with what I’m sensing in the room, and I help you do the same.

I coach from the middle of my own transition, not from the other side of it — because the women I work with don’t need someone who’s already arrived. They need someone who knows what the gap feels like and can stay in it with them without flinching.

Whether I’m facilitating a cohort or working one-on-one, I create a space that’s trusting, balanced and practical, where reflection turns into a plan.
